Summer 2022 looks good for anime fans, with the opening month of the season packed with some of the most anticipated anime series. “Classroom of the Elite,” a popular light novel and anime series, is returning this summer with a sequel television series, and a new trailer for the second season has also been released.
On Monday, the official Classroom of the Elite Twitter account tweeted a new trailer from the series For New anime season. In addition, the new PV creators released the new key visual for Classroom of the Elite Season 2 showing the show’s two main characters. See the official tweet below:

Classroom Of The Elite Season 2 New Trailer
Classroom of the Elite Season 2 will premiere on July 4, 2022, and will adapt the whole first-year student storyline from the original story. The animation will be handled by Studio Lerche, with first-season directors Seiji Kishi and Hiroyuki Hashimoto returning as chief directors. Ry Takahashi returns to create the music, along with Kana Hashiguchi, while Satoki Iida directs the sound.
The light novel Classroom of the Elite first appeared in Japan in 2015, and it has already sold over 6 million copies worldwide. Later, in 2017, an anime adaptation of the novel series was released, which was warmly appreciated by fans. The novel was made into an anime television series by Studio Lerche. The first season contained 12 episodes, while the second season contained 13 episodes.
Synopsis
The plot revolves around the lives of students at the famous Tokyo Metropolitan Advanced Nurturing High Schools, who are granted extraordinary freedom provided they can win, barter, or save enough points to move up the rankings!
Despite his high IQ, Ayanokouji Kiyotaka, a bright but reclusive kid in Class D, is unconcerned with his school life. Kiyotaka’s circumstances begin to alter after meeting Suzune Horikita and Kiky Kushida, two other students in his class.
His ideal average high school life begins to crumble. Kiyotaka tries to support himself through school activities, but as the competition level rises, he becomes involuntarily engaged in all the mayhem, resulting in the revelation of his dark past life.
