It’s official, anime figure companies have discovered a new technique to increase item sales to anime fans.
We now get new R18 figures of anime and manga characters every week, according to what appears to be a developing trend among anime figurine businesses. Following the NSFW figures of Inosuke (Demon Slayer) and Eren Yeager (Attack on Titan), we now have a more age-appropriate character getting her own figurine.
The most recent NSFW figurine comes from one of the most popular manga series, Chainsaw Man, which is also getting an anime adaptation this year. Chainsaw Man’s NSFW figure includes Makima, a controversial character in the manga series who appears to be worshipped as a deity by some followers.
I’m not sure if this is an honour or a disappointment, but Makima supporters are overjoyed. You can see both the NSFW and SFW versions of the figure, edited of course, down below.

Chainsaw Man is one of 2021’s most anticipated anime series. Tatsuki Fujimoto wrote and illustrated the manga that inspired the anime series. Eleven volumes have been published, containing all of the manga chapters.
Viz describes the manga series as follows:
Denji’s a poor young man who’ll do anything for money, even hunting down devils with his pet devil Pochita. He’s a simple man with simple dreams, drowning under a mountain of debt. But his sad life gets turned upside down one day when he’s betrayed by someone he trusts. Now with the power of a devil inside him, Denji’s become a whole new man—Chainsaw Man!
