The official Spy x Family Twitter announced that new details about the second season of Spy x Family would be released on August 28, 2022 at 8 a.m. EST. We eventually got to glimpse a fresh key visual as well as the Spy x Family Part 2 release date at that time.
The first season will include 25 episodes because the first season covered chapters 1-17 plus some side tasks. And, with 67 chapters thus far, the chances of a Spy x Family Part 2 are strong.
The Spy x Family Episode 13 release date is confirmed for October 1, 2022. The new episodes will be streaming on Crunchyroll.
However, there has been some talk about a Spy x Family film or OVA episode.
What We Know So Far!
Toho Animation has released a teaser video on their YouTube channel, which manga fans will undoubtedly love. It confirms that Loid’s former student Fiona, aka Nightfall, will make her appearance in the second cour.
However, anime lovers will have to wait to meet her. We also know that the second season will premiere in Japan on October 1, 2022!

The Spy x Family manga is released bi-weekly, however there are plenty of chapters available to read. There is also enough content to make a movie, OVA, or a second season in the future!
What To Expect From The Spy x Family Part 2!
Spy x Family Episode 12 ended on a cliffhanger, but it helped set the tone for the second season. We meet a dog who can see into the future and steal our hearts!
Bond will be his name, and he will become an important member of the Forger family! The Bond arc covers chapters 17 to 23 and introduces us to a villain that fans will despise just as much as the teacher who made Anya cry!
However, more short missions and new characters are on their way. We’ll meet new spies from both sides, as well as Frankie’s attempt to find a girlfriend and Yor’s determination to be a decent mother and wife.
Yuri will appear, but if the anime follows the manga, he will never meet Anya unless we get a season 2. So, will Anya win over her uncle, or will Yuri learn the truth?
