Café Minamdang Episode 17: Recap & Spoilers
‘Café Minamdang Episode 16’ shows Do-won visiting his therapist the night before Hye-murder. yoon’s He asks his therapist about his recollections, expressing his confusion and questions over Hyeon-murder. u’s In response, she claims that it was his father who instructed her to tamper with his memory because he wanted Do-won to manage the company because Seung-won had the necessary skills.
His father’s plans did not go as planned, and he turned out to be a psychopath. The situation deteriorated when he murdered Hyeon-u, and when asked how much he remembers of the incident, he mentions giving Hyeon-u water. She then asked him if it was truly water, which triggers Do-memory won’s of giving antifreeze to Hyeon-u and killing him with a necktie.
Going through the layers, we see Hye-genuine hoon’s motives emerge, and we see how proud she is of the brainwashing she performed. On the other hand, we see Do-won in complete shock after understanding that he was attempting to arrest his brother on the basis of falsified evidence. We also witness her blackmailing Do-won with the CD that indicates he was a psychopath. We witness him suffering another panic episode as he is overwhelmed by everything at once. The next day, he returns to Hye-hoon and assures her of the payment, as we watch Han-jun and Jae-hui arrive.
Hearing that Seung-won had killed more people makes her realise that something is wrong. She inquires about Do-recent won’s killing, and he replies unconcernedly whether she is unhappy because her best creation isn’t that amazing. We watch her doing everything she can to persuade him that all he needs to do is live a happy life as a prosecutor, but Do-won is deafeningly deafeningly deafeningly deafeningly deafeningly deaf
However, the next scene shows Hye-yoon being slain by Do-won as he tells her that he seeks justice and acts on his own free will. Han-jun and Jae-hui discover her body. The two start looking for clues and proof, and we see Jae-hui discover a photograph of Do-won standing over Hyeon-dead u’s body. We also witness Seong-won running to catch Auntie Im in Geumpa Mountain, while Han-jun, Su-cheol, and Hye-jun join him on the opposite side to acquire the proof first.In the end, the latter wins by being the first to locate Auntie Im. When questioned at Minamdang, she claims that she was hired by Chairman Cha to clean up after one of the Cha children’s deaths, and that the whole thing was staged by employing Tae-su and hanging Hyeon-u to make it look like a suicide.
The previous episode ends with the room filled with gas and everyone falling unconscious. Do-won obtains the file, and the next night, Han-jun discovers him wide awake at Minamdang with Idead m’s body in front of him and the murder weapons in his hand. In Minamdang, Do-won places Han-immobilized jun’s body on his chair.
