Detective Conan: The Scarlet Bullet is coming to an end, according to recent news. Shogakukan’s Shonen Sunday magazine’s October edition revealed on Thursday that Maruden and Abe’s manga adaptation of Detective Conan: The Scarlet Bullet, the franchise’s 24th film, will have its final chapter in the magazine’s next issue. They published this manga early this year in Shonen Sunday S, which will end later this year.

It all starts with Japan preparing to host the World Sports Games in Tokyo. The Hyperlinear bullet train, Japan’s pinnacle of modern technology, will begin operations on the same day as the WSG’s opening ceremony. The train travels at 1,000 km/h between Shin-Nagoya and Tokyo’s newly built Shibahama Station.
But then something terrible happens in Tokyo. All of the industry executives who have gathered for the big game are suddenly kidnapped. Shuichi Akai is watching the crisis from the shadows. On the other hand, FBI agents are waiting for orders to begin their investigation. But, in the midst of the crisis, Conan deduces that the issue is related to a WSG kidnapping that occurred in Boston 15 years earlier. He reveals that the FBI was originally assigned to handle the investigation.
