Fans of One Punch Man are eagerly awaiting the official release of Chapter 167. As early updates for One Punch Man Chapter 167 have come, here’s all you need to know about the upcoming manga chapter.
Yusuke Murata occasionally gives One Punch Man fans goosebumps with the release of a new chapter. The author’s detailed and brilliantly produced manga chapters continue to amaze readers. Garou has a God-like aura that allows him to create nuclear explosions and gamma bursts. Saitama is angry, and the previous chapter’s cliffhanger has increased readers’ interest in the next chapter.
The previous chapter of One Punch Man was completely mind-blowing, as Garou’s cosmic might was enough to make the weaklings swoon. S-Class heroes attempted to stop Garou, but he did not plan to and ended up killing Saitama’s cherished student, Genos. For the first time, Saitama becomes serious, and One Punch Man Chapter 167 serves as a warning of what’s to come in the series.
One Punch Man Chapter 166 Recap
Garou unleashed his nuclear strike and was seen moving toward Earth with his enormous God Powers in Chapter 166 of One Punch Man. His power has now increased to the point where simply being in the presence of humans is enough to terminate them. Blast, an S-Class level 1 hero, and Silver Fang attempted to attack Garou but were both interrupted by the unexpected arrival of Genos.
Genos tries to kill Garou with what little hope he still has, but fails. As the chapter progresses, Garou makes the audacious claim that he is the “Symbol of Fear,” and seizes the opportunity by eliminating Genos. He pulls out his core and wants to destroy him there and then in order to unleash Saitama’s full strength.
Saitama arrives just in time to see the death of his disciple and closest friend, and he becomes serious for the first time in the manga. It’s unknown if the demon cyborg is dead or alive right now. And in the following chapter, viewers will witness one of the most epic battles in manga history.
One Punch Man Chapter 167 Summary
The previous One Punch Man chapter ended on a cliffhanger. Saitama and Garou (who is copying Saitama) are bracing themselves for a serious punch. Fortunately, raw scans for Chapter 167 have already been released, revealing what happens in the fight between Saitama and Garou. The following is a synopsis of Chapter 167.
Blast warps Saitama and Garou away from Earth, but is unable to send them far enough away due to the massive amount of energy he must handle. His allies arrive and help him divert the energy, which sends Garou and Saitama hurtling to one of Jupiter’s moons and crashlands there. Just before that, a massive spine can be seen on the moon, which could be God’s physical location.
Saitama suggests that letting go on someone strong could be beneficial to him. Garou tries everything, combining every technique he has learned and replicated, but Saitama defies logic, anticipating his portal attacks and even physically manipulating them as if they were solids. Saitama instructs Garou to attack him with his fists because he is tired of the cheap parlour tricks (referring to the portals and such).
Garou reacts by adding that all of those items combined form his fist. Saitama debuts two new moves: the ‘Omnidirectional Serious Punch’ and the ‘Serious Tableflip.’ The tableflip is so violent that Garou loses his sense of direction and crashes head first into the ground. It concludes with the two of them exchanging blows once again. Garou’s method appears to be straightforward: just keep copying and exchanging blows, as seen on the last page.
The new One Punch Man chapter is insane. Murata is just casually making art that belongs in museums. This isn’t even manga anymore😭 pic.twitter.com/U10uQCVbLQ

When One Punch Man Chapter 167 Will Release?
The manga One Punch Man by ONE and Yusuke Murata is published in Shueisha’s Tonori no Young Magazine, which is released every Saturday. However, unlike other manga series, One Punch Man does not adhere to a release timetable, which is unusual given that most manga are released weekly or monthly. However, for OPM, the timeline is random, and the author is free to post the chapter anytime he wants.
Murata, despite having so much freedom, is not a lazy author and works like a maniac. In most situations, new chapters are issued on the first or last Saturday of the month. One Punch Man Chapter 167 will be released on July 7th, 2022 at 12:00 AM (JST). Due to time zone differences, the release date for some overseas readers may vary, but it will be either the previous day or the next day of its first release.
