Dr. Stone, Riichiro Inagaki’s sci-fi manga series, published its final manga chapter on March 22, 2022, or so the creator wanted the fans to believe. According to a recent author update, we may be receiving more of the Dr. Stone series.
Riichiro Inagaki, the creator of the Dr. Stone series, tweeted earlier today that the work is not finished, leading fans to believe that the franchise will return. “Dr. STONE is no longer a weekly serialisation, but it’s not over,” the author said in a tweet.

Manga lovers will be excited if Dr. Stone manga ever returns, especially because Hunter x Hunter is also returning to the same magazine as Dr. Stone. It should be noted that a special manga chapter will be released in Summer 2022 to commemorate the premiere of the OVA named Dr. Stone: Ryuusui. The author could be referring to that specific manga chapter.
Dr. Stone manga readers are pleased with how things ended in the manga’s final chapter. All of the series’ important characters were given a good send-off, so there isn’t much room to expand on that story.
Dr. Stone is a manga written by Inagaki and illustrated by Boichi. They began publishing the manga in Weekly Shonen Jump in March 2017 and stopped 5 years later in March 2022. The manga was picked up by TMS Entertainment for an anime adaptation. They have already released two seasons, and a third season is being prepared for release in 2023.
