Kodansha released an advertisement video on a 45.6 metre long LED display at the JR Shinjuku Station on May 23, 2022, to celebrate the release of its 34th and last volume, Atsushi Ohkubo’s Fire Force manga.
The advertisement, which features Shinra Kusakabe and other characters with the word “Enen” written on the backdrop, will be shown on the East-West Free Passage in Shinjuku Station, Tokyo, until May 29.
On May 17, 2022, Fire Force manga volume 34 was released.

On May 17, the Japanese daily Yomiuri Shimbun ran a full-page memorial advertisement for Fire Force to celebrate the release of the final book.
Atsushi Kubo is the author and illustrator of the Japanese manga series Fire Force. Since September 2015, it has been serialised in Kodansha’s Weekly Shnen Magazine. After six years of serialisation, the manga came to an end in the magazine’s 13th issue.
Though Kodansha encouraged people to anticipate Ohkubo’s future work, no fresh details have been published.
The manga Fire Force presently has 17.5 million copies in circulation.
David Production’s anime television series adaption aired on MBS’s Super Animeism block from July to December 2019. From July through December 2020, a second season aired. Funimation has licenced the anime.
The third season of Fire Force anime is now in the works, according to Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine issue #25.
