Demon Slayer, Jujutsu Kaisen, Tokyo Revengers, and many other series became popular among anime fans over the years, however after these anime series concluded, their popularity began to decline. However, there is one anime series that has grown in popularity; even after it has ended airing, Naruto’s fan base continues to grow. Even the most well-known anime franchise, Dragon Ball, pales in comparison to the Naruto anime series.
Broadband Choices has gathered information from Google on the most popular anime series around the world (they looked at the most searched shows in 146 countries). In 93 countries, Naruto is the most popular anime. In 16 countries, Pokemon is the most popular anime franchise.

Naruto is also the most popular anime in terms of search volume.16.2% of all the anime related searches are related to Naruto franchise.
Pokemon is in second place, with 8.8 percent of global searches, but it is nowhere near the fan favourite ninja anime. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba (7.8 percent), Jujutsu Kaisen (7.3 percent), and One Piece (7.2 percent) are third, fourth, and fifth, respectively, surpassing Attack on Titan, which fell to sixth position with 5.2 percent of searches.

The Naruto anime is based on Masashi Kishimoto’s manga series of the same name. In 1999, his Naruto manga was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump. In 2014, the series came to an end after 15 years. The manga was picked up by Studio Pierrot for an anime adaptation. The Naruto anime series finished in 2017 after 220 episodes and 500 episodes of Naruto Shippuden. With over 250 million copies sold globally, it is one of the best-selling manga in history.
