Both films will be released on October 7th, and, before you ask, they are related. But there’s a catch: the order in which you see the two films will have a significant impact on how you feel about them. The two films are based on two light novels with the same title. Yomiji Otono wrote both light novels. Which were published simultaneously on June 23, 2016.

Two films are being released at the same time. They are designed in such a way that you can view them from either side, and the order in which you see the two videos will have a significant impact on how you feel about them. “I hope you appreciate the one-time decision of which of the two films to see first.”
Different animation studios will work on the two films! Bakken Record will produce the animation for the first film, “To All of You That I Loved”. The second film, ” To the Only Me Who Loved You” , will be animated by TMS Entertainment, which has previously worked on Dr. Stone, Rent-A-Girlfriend, and Fruits Basket.

Release Date & Watching Order

Knowing that the two movies are related (once again take that with a grain of salt) and releasing on the same day one might wonder, which one should I watch first? Well, the answer is… Whichever you want! The two movies both tell their own stories and aren’t connected with each other (kinda). However, with that said, it is recommended that you watch “To All of You That I Loved” first as the second film “To the Only Me Who Loved You” will make small connections to the first.
