Satoshi Hino as Ainz, Yumi Hara as Albedo, Sumire Uesaka as Shalltear, Emiri Kato as Aura Bella Fiora, and Yumi Uchiyama as Mare Bello Fiore will all return.
The original light novel, written by ugane Maruyama, has been published since 2012. Season one of the anime series premiered in 2015, with seasons two and three following in 2018. All three were animated by Studio MADHOUSE, as were the subsequent recap films. Crunchyroll describes the series as follows:
When a popular MMORPG is scheduled to be shut down permanently, veteran player Momonga refuses to log out. As NPCs begin to develop personalities and minds of their own he decides to put his skills to use as the game’s new overlord.
