Yuji Itadori is the protagonist of the Jujutsu Kaisen series but he is not the most popular character. Gojo Satoru is the most popular and strongest when it comes to popularity and strength. Fans of Jujutsu Kaisen are eagerly awaiting the second season. Which is set to premiere in 2023, but they won’t see much of Gojo in the second season.

What Will Happen To Gojo In Season 2?

Before we continue, please be aware that there will be manga spoilers ahead. We all know that Gojo is the world’s most powerful Jujutsu sorcerer. In fact, he is so powerful that the author had to isolate him so that the other characters in the series could shine and the series could become more competitive. We know that no villain in the story (so far) is capable of defeating Gojo on his own.

The story’s antagonist, Kenjaku (who is now possessing Geto), wishes to evolve mankind via cursed energy. Gojo Satoru is the most difficult obstacle Geto must overcome in order to attain his aim. Because Gojo is too powerful to be killed, Geto and others intend to imprison him in a prison realm. As you might expect, they are successful in imprisoning Gojo.

How Much Screen Time Will Gojo Have In Season 2?

Gojo Satoru will still get a lot of screen time in the first few episodes of season 2. As fans will learn about his backstory and how he became the strongest. Season 1 of Jujutsu Kaisen adapted 64 manga chapters in total. In Chapter 91, Gojo is imprisoned. If the second season’s pacing maintains the same there will only be 9 or 10 episodes of Gojo in season 2.

In Which Season Gojo Will Come Back?

The Jujutsu Kaisen manga series has 187 chapters so far, yet there is still no sign of Gojo returning. Given that the manga’s author, Akutami Gege, wishes to end the series in 1 to 2 years, Gojo’s reappearance could be soon. Season 1 adapted 64 chapters of the manga, and if future seasons follow Same pattern, anime fans won’t see Gojo until season 4 of the Jujutsu Kaisen series.
